Before and After

I am listening to rain drops falling on the rooftop here, which is the perfect recipe for curling up in bed with a good book or a good movie.

In case you are in the same boat, might I recommend "Coco Before Chanel"?

It is highly possible that I am a Johnny-come-lately to this particular film, but in case you haven't seen it yet, you must! Those classic suits seems so much more interesting when you know the story of the woman behind them.

Let me know if you decide to check it out.
And for those of you who have seen it already, what did you think?

The smell of rain sounds so heavenly right now. It's snowing here.

I just watched it for the first time last night and thought it was really well done! I so appreciated the artistry of the film and the way it captured her spirit and insight; what inspired her was drawn from her daily life... I thought it was great!

Saw this film at the cinema & fell in love with it - and "The Boy"!! Perfect film for a rainy evening - what a lovely idea. I would want to be lounging in silk pj's with a strin of pearls & a cup of coco!! x

I loved this movie, and Audrey Tautou did a great job, but I would have loved to have seen more of the channel collection too.

I so agree, the fashions were the star of the movie. Her style has a timeless appeal; I did want more from the movie. I thought the actress, Audrey Tautou did a fabulous job~ Now, I want to watch it again ;-D
