Hair Today

I grew out my hair for my wedding and now my hair dresser is on maternity leave so it just keeps getting longer and I am just not too sure what to do with it. It needs some direction, this hair of mine.

I always opt for cutting my hair because styling it just is not my thing, but I am sort of liking this longer, sleek bob that Rose Byrne is sporting.

If I could get my hair to look sleek and sexy like that, I'd totally keep it on the long side.

But, the same 'do day after day does start to get old after a while, no matter how good the cut.
What are your tricks for spicing up longer hair?

My hair is over two-and-a-half feet long (don't worry; I'm NOT Amish!). It's also somewhat thick and quite frizzy, so the best way for me to sleek it down is to simply straighten it out after I take a shower. When I do that, I'm set for the week, and I'm able to style my hair easier. :)

I am a huge fan of long hair. You may remember me as the girl who modeled the lawn frock which was the winning design in shabby apples contest a year ago. I keep my long locks shiny with organic shampoo, conditioner and an amazing Moroccan argan oil that makes my hair smell amazing. If I'm going out I then use a flattening iron for even more shine. I found a really awesome one you can use on wet hair. When you have long hair you need those time saving tip ;).

That bob is adorable! -- though for long hair, I usually just flip out the ends with a flatiron for a delicate curl and give it some bounce :)
