It's A Giveaway!

Tuesday seems like a good day for a giveaway, and so that is what we are going to do! The rules are simple.

1. Head over to Shabby Apple and check out the awesome color blocking separates from our new line, The Block.

2. Imagine an awesome outfit you would put together using one of those items.

3. Come on back over here and tell me about your awesome outfit and your favorite item from The Block in the comments section. Leave me your e-mail address, too, so we can hook up later.

4. On Thursday, I'll pick a winner at random. And that winner will get a $75 gift card.

Too easy, right? So get dreaming and commenting!
Can't wait to see what you block up!

I envision the window shop dress with a large bright yellow purse and matching yellow shoes! My favourite piece is the headliner dress, especially with the wide blue belt and blue shoes. Cute!

I love the Matinee Dress! There are so many options and color combos that could go with it, but I think I would first wear it with some blue tights and a pink purse.

Once I am no longer pregnant (last trimester baby!) I would love to pair the bistro blouse with some skinny skinny jeans and wedges. I will be one styling mama.

I love the Waterfront dress. I am starting at Harvard this fall, and I can imagine wearing it to look both professional and feminine.

I love the promenade blouse, which I would wear with dark wash trouser jeans and sparkling silver flats. I'd also add vintage sunglasses--think Audrey Hepburn. I'd probably wear my hair in a messy top bun. :)

Hmmm...I love the Streetcar and Taxicab skirts. Very fun, slightly wild colors. I can see them paired with a simple blouse (peach or plum would look incredible with the Taxicab!) or cardigan, flats, and small jewelry. But that's me--I'm not a big, chunky jewelry person. The Headliner dress is really cute too. I could see dressing it up with pumps and a pearl necklace.

I'll just say it right now. I love the Cityscape Skirt. It totally reminds me of Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday. I would pair it with a white button-down shirt, wide belt, gladiator sandals, and some fabulous jewelry. It doesn't get any more chic than that.

Headliner dress plus nude shoes. I think I'm a little afraid of color blocking! Maybe a white cardigan?

Brittany said...

Oh this is too fun...
I love the Bistro Blouse! I'd love the bright yellow of that blouse with a pretty blue color like the Waterfront dress. Those two pieces layered with a fun pair of red shoes would be amazing!

The headliner dress would be the perfect dress for my monochromatic block look as i pair it up with either these shoes http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/jeffrey-campbell-regina-wedge/3247742 or an excuse to get a cute pair of blue shoes with a yellow head scarf for a mondrian look of primary colors!

So, I love several items from the Block collection! I love the Bistro blouse, and I would wear it with my royal blue maxi skirt, or my skinny jeans and blue espadrilles. I really like the Promenade Blouse, because I don't have anything like it, and I would love to see that tucked into a bubble skirt. My last two favorites are the Streetcar Skirt and the Matinee Dress!
