Free and Easy

You know what I like to do on Wednesdays?

Give you a free dress! That's what.

Yep, you read that right. Now that you've had a chance to peruse our new line of casual dresses, Lighthouse, we want to give you one of your very own.

It's all quite simple really. First, take another look and pick a favorite dress. I think I would go with this long grey knit maxi dress, but you can do whatever you want. Obvi.

Then leave us a little note in the comments section of this here post and let us know which dress is your favorite, why it's your favorite, and where you would wear it. Don't forget to leave an e-mail address, too, so we can e-mail you if you are a winner!

And I do hope you win. We'll make the big announcement a week from today, so start commenting!

I'm with you; I'd go with the Elizabeth Islands dress. I like that it looks so comfortable, is wearable and can easily be dressed up or down. I'd probably wear it as an everyday type dress to work and the like.

I LOVE the Polly Hill Poppy Short Knit Wrap. I've been trying to get some more red on my wardrobe and this piece is stunning yet still fun. It would be perfect for me to wear on my honeymoon in the Caribbean!

I agree...all of them are cute, but the Elizabeth Islands is great! I like that it can be worn just about anywhere...dressed-up for a party or dressed-down for a gals' day shopping/lunch. I would wear it to church and out-and-about town!

t's a tough choice, but the Polly Hill is my favorite. I love the length and my husband loves me in a red dress! It would be perfect for our 'farewell' before he deploys later this summer.

Polly Hill looks great! The best thing about this collection is how comfortable they look. That's why I'd probably wear this to my classes at university - to prove to the trackpants brigade that it is possible to look good and feel comfy at the same time!

I love the Highland Light dress. It looks amazingly comfortable, yet still nice enough to look put together. I'm pretty sure I would live in this dress.

I'm with you! Loving the Elizabeth Islands dress! I'd wear it pretty much always. I love that it can be dressier or more casual. And this might be TMI but I also love that it looks like it would be an easy dress to wear while nursing! I love wearing maxis, but when breastfeeding a baby they can get complicated!

My favourite is definitely the Polly Hill Poppy Short Knit wrap dress. It has such amazing drape and colour, and I can easily dress it up or down depending on shoes and accessories. And better still, I can layer under it for the colder months so I will get lots of mileage out of it! I'd wear it to work, for a date on the weekend, even for a market run :)

YAY! I love the Polly Hill dress because of the flattering wrap-around quality, and the poppy-bright color. It looks comfortable, but also eye catching and wearable for a plus-shapes girl like myself. :)

Love! Thank you for the giveaway! I really like the Race Point dress, the Elizabeth Islands dress, and the Hyannis skirt! These all look so comfy- that's why I love the grey maxi- but I super love stripes too! I'm having a hard time deciding a favorite, honestly. I'd wear any of these running errands with my daughter during the day, or shopping, or for a casual date with my husband.

The Polly Hill says va-va-va voom to me! Looks like something Rita Hayworth would live in for the summer. It makes me want to dye my hair red and find the brightest scarlet lipstick I can to go with it! I'd wear it out for cocktails, at a beach party, heck...I'd wear it anywhere!

Elizabeth Islands.
I don't have anything in my wardrobe quite like it and the simple style, yet elegance and summer-esque quality would make it suitable to wear almost anywhere.
So where would I wear it? Lounging around the condo eating peanut M&Ms, walking along the beach with the sand between my toes and the waves nipping at my ankles, in the arms of a wonderful man. Sounds perfect:-)

I LOVE Polly Hill. So summery yet it could gracefully transition into fall wear! bring it on!

My favorite is the Polly Hill! I tend to wear neutrals (my mother in law calls them plain!), and this is such a bright color. Also, I live in Seattle, and there is a lot of grey around, so this would feel like there is hope on those days. I would wear it to teach my college students: maybe to wake them up when they are feeling sleepy.

My favorite dress is that grey maxi the "Elizabeth Islands"! GORGEOUS! I love the color (can match with anything!) I also love that I am 12 weeks pregnant and anything Maxi can easily be accepted into my wardrope - I would probably wear this dress everywhere, everyday, all the time. It looks comfortable but so so easy to dress up if I needed to!!

The Elizabeth Islands Dress (all of my current maxis are sleeveless so great additition) BUT I love the Highland Lights as well (LOVE STRIPES) -

They all look so comfy yet put together!

I would definitely choose the Highland Light! I have always dreamed of wearing a nautical blue/white striped dress to go sailing with my husband...I'm not married yet, but that would be it! It is most assuredly on the "wish list"!

See,I love the shorter versions, too, but I'm just really feeling the Elizabeth Islands dress- the graceful lines, the flowy movement. It is exactly what I want in a summer dress, making an effortless statement! I'd wear it with either gladiators or strappy sandals with heels. Maybe not wedges, because I think I want the movement to not be too anchored. And the accessory possibilities are endless! I'd wear it out to hear live music at my favorite Mexican restaurant, as well as family outings where I want to look polished but feel comfortable.

I've been swooning over the Vineyard Sound since I discovered it this afternoon. I'd wear it (with a striped scarf) when my train pulls into Nantes, France this fall! It's light and breathable enough, and looks wrinkle-resistant enough, for the hour-long train ride and the nine-hour flight from Chicago beforehand, but the v-neck, elbow sleeves, and muted color give it the chic to contend with French street fashion.

If I won, I would choose the beautiful Elizabeth Islands dress. I love the color and the fact that you can wear it so many different ways. You can dress it up or dress it down. Plus, I love the fact that it looks so comfortable, but at the same time is very sophisticated and classy.

P.S. I've pinned over fifty of Shabby Apple's clothing items on to Pinterest. I hope it gets you some business! I love Shabby Apple!
