I absolutely love that aviator looking hat! I'm going to have to keep on the look out for one like that!
I made a slouchy crochet hat. I plan to knit one as well.
I wear my fiance's grandmother's slouchy crochet hat every winter. I love it. It is from the 30s or 40s as it was in her mother's cedar chest with all her children's keepsakes from when they were young. He makes fun of it but I keep reminding him he can't say much as it was his granny's :)
